Lucerne is a flagship of Buick that replaced LeSabre model that was produced for over 40 years (in 2011 place of Lucerne took LaCrosse). Vehicle is a full-size 4-door sedan that was named by the name of city in Switzerland. Lucerne was available with a range of 3.8 – 4.6 liter V6 or V8 engines and a 4-speed automatic transmission. In 2007 Lucerne received two different trim levels that were called CXL Special Edition and Super. However, it didn‘t helped Lucerne to get higher sales so it was changed by LaCrosse in 2012.
