Daewoo Leganza is a four-door sedan car, which was firstly introduced in 1997 in South Korea and Egypt. This car was introduced as a successor to Daewoo Espero. The word lagenza is derived from two Italian words - “elegenate” and “forza” , they mean elegant and power respectively.  The internal development of car (V100) was started to replace GM-licensed models. An Italian national designer Giorgetto Giugiaro introduced design of the car. The body shape of this model was ancestry of Toyota Aristo. Leganza was further assembled in Vietnam and Romania from 1998-2002.
