Dodge Dakota is also known as Ram Dakota. Dodge Dakota was a mid-size pickup truck. The first Dakota was introduced in 1986. Dakota was a first pickup that had an optional V8 engine. It was successor to Ram 1500. Three generations of the car were manufactured. First generation was 2-door pickup truck which was produced from 1986 since 1996. Second and third generations were more efficient and comfortable and the generations were marketed in international markets. It has four speed automatic transmission with four-wheel drive layout and 4.7 L (287 cu in) Magnum V8 engine.
