3 series are compact executive class vehicles that is being produced from 1975. Until today, there are 6 generations of 3 series released and models comes in 5 different bodies. 3 series are best-selling models of BMW. FIrst generation was produced from 1975 until 1983, second between 1982 and 1994, third from 1990 to 2000, fourth between 1998 and 2006, fifth since 2004 until 2013, and so far the last, sixth generation is being produced from 2011. The most powerful version of series is being sold under the name of M3.
