Kia Capital is a four door sedan sub compact car which was firstly introduced by South Korean automaker Kia in February, 1989. Production of this car was stopped in 1996. This car was introduced as a competitor to Hyundai Elantra and Daewoo Espero. It had transverse front engine with front wheel drive layout. This car was powered by 1.8 L DOHC petrol engine. It was assembled in Seoul, South Korea. It was predecessor to Kia Credos and Kia Optima in China.
