There were versions DBR9 and DBRS9 built for racing with an improved engines and GT version was developed in 2015 that was powered by 548 hp (403 kW) engine, DB9 LM, DB9 Carbon Black, Morning Frost, and Quantum Silver. Carbon Black, Morning Frost and Quantum Silver shared the same 5.9 L V12 477 hp (350 kW) engine.
