Avalanche is Chevrolet 4 or 6 door pickup that was manufactured from 2001 to 2013.  Avalanche was built on GMT800 platform, engines ranged from 5.3 to 8.1 liters and 4-speed automatic transmission was installed in the car. Off-road package was available for this first generation (2003 – 2007) vehicles with improved suspension and on-road package with sport on-road suspension. Second generation was produced from 2007 to 2013 with a package of Z71 and three trim levels (LS (base trim), LT (middle level trim) and LTZ (top level trim)). Black Diamond Edition was released in 2013. Pickup received many positive reviews and was nominated as the car of the year in North America. The reason why it was discontinued is because the sales started dropping.
