Chevrolet Monza is a subcompact class vehicle that was manufactured as a 2-door 2+2 hatchback, 2-door coupe, hatchback and station wagon, between 1974 and 1980. Model is based on and is successor to another Chevrolet model – Vega which was built on GM H platform. In 1975 Monza Towne Coupe was introduced with updated design also Spyder package was launched in 1976 (Z01 with sport suspension, sport steering wheel, Z02 with different appearance and Z29 Spyder equipment package). Upgraded Monza’s were used in motorsports and competed with GT class cars in US and Australia.
