Chrysler LeBaron is a series of models that are known since 1930s. The first car was introduced over 80 years ago and the last model was sold in 1995. First models are referred as the classic generation. Series of LeBaron cars were manufactured from 1931 to 1941 with 2-door coupe or convertible bodies or 4-door sedan or convertible bodies. Another generation could be classified as the Imperial generation, because in 1955 Imperial wass released as a separate line of cars of Chrysler. Top model of Imperial series was called LeBaron. Series that can be called as the true first generation because LeBaron was released as a separate car, were produced between 1977 and 1981 (wagon, sedan and coupe versions were released). Second generation was produced from 1982 to 1988, third from 1987 to 1995 (as a coupe and convertible) and between 1990 and 1994 as a sedan.
