Chrysler New Yorker is a longest-running car in USA that was produced from 1940 to 1996. Car was created with different bodies: 2 or 4 door sedan, 2-door brougham sedan, 2-door coupe, 2-door convertible, 2 or 4-door hardtop, 4-door station wagon and 4-door hardtop station wagon. In the few lasts generations car was established as only sedan model. New Yorker at one time was Chrysler flagship car. First generation was produced from 1940 to 1942, second from 1946 to 1948, third between 1949 and 1954, fourth from 1955 to 1956, fifth between 1957 and 1959, sixth from 1960 to 1964, seventh from 1965 to 1968, eighth between 1969 and 1973, ninth from 1974 to 1978, tenth from 1979 to 1981, eleventh in 1982, twelfth between 1983 and 1988, thirteenth between 1988 and 1993 and fourteenth from 1994 to 1997.
