GMC (General Motors Truck Company) is a division of GM that was founded in 1911 in USA. Company specializes in producing commercial vehicles, trucks, buses, military vehicles, SUV. GMC originally was created as a holding for Buick. Company had created one of the first commercial trucks in history. Company releases models mostly for local market and all plants locates in USA. In 1996 GMC was merged with Pontiac because GM wanted Pontiac to have a line of trucks dealerships.
